A to Z - D is for Dark Chocolate. Yum..

D is for Dark Chocolate.  A colour as well as a delicious treat!

(The background is a cookie sheet... Now who gave me that idea!?!)

Where do you find the best hot fudge sundae in the world?

Need a clue?

If you said San Francisco, you are correct!  Back in 2010, my sister and I stood in line for 30 minutes just to get into the Ghirardelli Ice Cream shop.  It was worth it....

I also adore chocolate from Iceland.  So nice when my airplane goes thru Reykjavik on the way to adventure!

  1. Agreed! On my retirement trip to California three years ago, I went to Ghiradelli's for their hot fudge sundae not once, not twice, but three times - in three days. Don't condemn me. I was celebrating!

  4. Cheryl,

Ghiradelli makes some good chocolates. We buy their candies and chocolate chips. We do not have an ice cream shop in our East Tennessee community that I know of but oh WOW does that sound good.

  5. Yum! That fudge sundae sounds amazing. I'm not sure that I've ever had a real ice cream sundae. I'm Australian and they're not a big thing here. We had an amazing trip around Tasmania last year, which was the theme of my last year's A-Z challenge. Here's a link to a chocolate factory in Tassie: https://beyondtheflow.wordpress.com/2017/02/08/oops-tasting-more-than-a-little-chocolate/
    best wishes,
