D is for Dark Chocolate. A colour as well as a delicious treat!
(The background is a cookie sheet... Now who gave me that idea!?!)
Where do you find the best hot fudge sundae in the world?
Need a clue?
If you said San Francisco, you are correct! Back in 2010, my sister and I stood in line for 30 minutes just to get into the Ghirardelli Ice Cream shop. It was worth it....
I also adore chocolate from Iceland. So nice when my airplane goes thru Reykjavik on the way to adventure!
Agreed! On my retirement trip to California three years ago, I went to Ghiradelli's for their hot fudge sundae not once, not twice, but three times - in three days. Don't condemn me. I was celebrating!

Three times!!! I am jealous! What an awesome retirement trip!
DeleteLoving your theme :) And just had a stroll through A, B and C, the photos you are using are great!
ReplyDeleteThank you! When I travel I take hundreds of photos, wishing for a few that turn out well. It's nice to have a stash of pics to pull from, along with some fabulous memories!
DeleteI like dark chocolate too. Nice post.
ReplyDeleteCheryl,
ReplyDeleteGhiradelli makes some good chocolates. We buy their candies and chocolate chips. We do not have an ice cream shop in our East Tennessee community that I know of but oh WOW does that sound good.

Yum! That fudge sundae sounds amazing. I'm not sure that I've ever had a real ice cream sundae. I'm Australian and they're not a big thing here. We had an amazing trip around Tasmania last year, which was the theme of my last year's A-Z challenge. Here's a link to a chocolate factory in Tassie: https://beyondtheflow.wordpress.com/2017/02/08/oops-tasting-more-than-a-little-chocolate/
