A to Z / C is for Cream

CREAM - a food and a colour...

It's funny how many different shades of white have turned up over the years.  I worked mixing paint at the local hardware store one summer and was amazed at how people agonized over picking just the perfect shade.  Personally, I prefer colour in my house.  No white walls. No cream walls.

  1. As we rent we have to put up with what the landlord has chosen, but thankfully it is more like a light yellow than cream. We accessorize with lots of bright colours and pictures as like you I would have colours on the walls instead.

  2. Dreamy Cream...love the lace and flower collaged on the many shades of cream. It's set off and pops with the busy colorful background. I do off white on walls I use as galleries, but almost always have one colored accent wall. Nice collage for Letter C.

  3. I too am a fan of colour rather than white or cream.
Now that you've mentioned your work at a paint store, your decision to check paint colours for words that are both colour and food makes so much sense. I'd been wondering where you came up with that idea.

  4. Cheryl,

That's funny. I'm just the opposite, I prefer white or off white shades for my walls since makes the room brighter. I do like colors but I rather accessorize with different shades that can be easily changed as my mood dictates. Nice work!
