Queen Lili'uokalani's Crazy Quilt

We enjoyed visiting the beautiful Iolani Palace in Honolulu. While imprisoned in the palace for 10 months in 1895, the queen made a crazy quilt documenting the events of this time.  The quilt is made of silk and cotton. I went a little crazy taking photos. As I look at the photos I realize what a teaching tool it is for me as I strive to learn new stitches.
