I purchased this little dress at a thrift store for $5.00 - way above my usual thrifting budget. It spoke and I listened. I'm so glad to have it in my stash!
I started by using a piece of the dress over yellow solar fast. It didn't work - the white was just too transparent. Next step - dye the piece of dress mustard yellow. I then brushed sepia solar fast over the failed yellow. Yes!
The mustard piece will work into my "yellow" project. I may, or may not do some extra stitching. It feels like it needs beads. I have a long car ride coming up - this may be my car stitch, although beads in a car might end in disaster!
