This is Momma Kitty. She is 20 years old! A chart on-line tells me that she is 96 in human years. Not bad for a cat that lives outdoors with wild animals threatening to eat her.
She lives a peaceful life with a greenhouse to sleep in, a wrap around porch for more sleep, and a very messy garden to hunt for snacks. When my husband complains about her (she doesn't like him), I remind him that she has been in my life longer than him.
Poor girl never got a proper name. Her hearing is poor and it looks like it is painful to walk. She often sits on the porch railing and watches the road. Is she watching for danger? Our pets certainly are an important part of our lives.
