I can't even pretend to pronounce, Lystigardur Akureyrar! Just know that it was beautiful!

The park was opened in the early 1900's and was the first public park in Iceland. Founded by several housewives. Their mission was to beautify the town and provide entertainment for the public. What a challenge they had creating the garden with plants that would survive the Artic region!
