I am so happy that I found a home for my camel back trunk. I bought it an auction in Kansas, many years ago. My family lived there for a few years in the early 1970's, and going to auctions was a very popular thing at the time.
I cleaned and repaired it for a 4H project. I remember many hours working to remove rust! It's been painted a few times since then and I stored fabric in it for many years. After my last move, the trunk has lived in my garage. It was certainly time to find a new home for my memory.
Yesterday, my brother and I loaded it into his SUV and away it went to a new home. The stories it could tell!
