My husband took a little ride this week. His body has been failing for some time. We are now looking at big life changes. I knew it would happen at some point, but the reality of a nursing home is still a shock.

I love old houses. The woodwork, high ceilings, and details that created a masterpiece. We did a self guided tour and I was not disappointed.

Welcome 2026
Today I look ahead to the new year and what I hope to accomplish before 2027 marches in. My son and I are off on an adventure. Yes, it involves sunshine and warm weather.
