It's been a year since we've enjoyed a day at the library creating art and enjoying friends. I spent yesterday gelli printing on fabric. Last night I worked one of my flowers into a collage that I was feeling a little stuck. I'm not totally happy with it yet, but setting it aside for inspiration at a later date is perfectly acceptable.
I listened to the suggestion to turn off the internet and go look for fresh inspiration. I was at Hobby Lobby this morning and took an extra 5 minutes to just look for pattern and colour combinations that caught my eye. Fun and satisfying!!!
After getting results from 2 weeks with a heart monitor, I find myself in the hospital to monitor a new drug. It's only 3 days, but I find myself ready to return home after 2.
A bright spot during this visit is the lovely flowers that were delivered. Thank goodness for caring friends!
I went outside early this morning to check on blooms (before the rain began). I imagine that the buds will change to full blooms in a few days after the all day rain we had today. There is at least 4 inches in a bucket that I left outside, and more rain is coming!
