#100 Day / Day #7 / Wire

Not that this little project used up much wire, it did get a to do item off my list. My nephew cut and drilled the sticks for me when I first began the little dress project. It was time to use some wire and create my hangers.  While at it, I cleaned out the wire drawer and got rid of a few things. Every little bit helps, right?

#100 Days / Day 6 / Legos!!

This day was almost too easy.  I've been storing my son's Legos for ages (he is 32).  Every time I've asked him about taking them he said he would never use them again.  I couldn't part with them, so I just stored them until I found someone who would appreciate them.  This weekend he called and said that he wanted a tote of Legos!  I stacked them all together and plan to deliver them the next time I head south!

#100 Days / Day 5 - Rubber stamps

The rubber stamp addiction has maybe finally ended. I still find myself looking at them at the craft store, but haven't been moved to make a purchase in a long, long time.  I'm not even sure when the last time was that I used one of my stamps.  I do enjoy carving  my own every now and then, so I will keep a few just incase the urge hits.

With a crafting retreat ahead of me, it seemed like a good time to pull some stamps to add to the free table.  (This is just a small sample of my purge).

#100 Days / Day 4

It's time to start giving away some quilts.  Arrianne (daughter) wants the Butterfly Quilt.  Wouldn't you know, it's the one hanging in the living room now.  She doesn't have a place for it in her tiny house, but when she moves next year, I imagine she will remember that it goes to her!  Does that mean that I need to make a new quilt to hang in it's place?

#100 Day / Day 3

Oh my goodness!  I can't believe how many clips I have in my stash.  This is only a small amount.  These were easy to relocate with a family group text - my sister (the teacher) jumped on this right away!

#100 Days / Day 2 / Books

Book purge!  Why keep books that I no longer look at.  They collect dust and take up space.  I'm beginning with just a few.  The library takes donations for a giveaway cart of books by the front entrance.  It is easier to pull a few each week!

#The100DayProject / Day 1

Trash day is tomorrow.  Today I begin my Swedish Death Cleaning with a random trash collecting to jump start my plan.  Fill the can!   If I could be aggressive, it would be nice to fill a can every week.  I'm too sentimental for that.

#100DayProject / Project day eve

I've decided to participate in the 100 Day, but with a different twist for myself.  I will do 100 days of Swedish Death Cleaning and organizing and using up supplies.  That would be a very long hashtag indeed!  Bottom line is that I need to spend time purging rather than beginning a new project.  My little dress project is my main concern at this point, with some serious deadlines facing me.  What started as a fun project has grown to an art exhibit and magazine article to write.  Yes, I'm excited, but also feel nervous about what I'm about where my art is taking me.  So here we go! 100 Days of getting as much done as is humanly possible!

Just thinking...

I had this great plan for blogging this year.  I even made a list of 52 things I could write about.  Then, life happened.  My son is requiring much of my time and I knew that something had to give...  I'm feeling stress, anxiety, sadness, and confusion these days.  Even though I know this won't last forever, I'm having a hard time getting out of my funk.

So, until my load lightens, I shall disappear for awhile.  Hopefully, not too long.
